Children & Sunday School
Children begin service in the Sanctuary with their families.
Bible-based coloring pages and crayons are available.
Early in the service, children gather in the front of the Sanctuary to participate in the Children’s Sermon.
Children then have the option to attend Sunday School during the remainder of the service. Children can be picked up in Fellowship Hall following the service.
Children have their own table during Fellowship Time, and a dedicated craft room stocked with free supplies is available for their use. Outdoor green space with playground equipment is also available (parents are responsible for the supervision of their children outdoors).
We host a free Vacation Bible School in the summer for children ages 3 – 12.
The theme is different from year to year and includes Bible stories, music, crafts, and snacks.
We love giving children the opportunity to actively participate in Sunday Service which can befall in a variety of ways.
Children serve as acolytes and can participate in our music ministry.
Children can serve as readers, liturgists, and ushers.
Older children often help run the audio-visual component of the service.
